The former England manager had been due to speak with the media on Thursday, with his team set to face Everton in their next Premier League game, but the press conference was cancelled at 35 minutes’ notice. “Unfortunately, today’s press conference will no longer take place as scheduled as Roy Hodgson was taken ill during this morning’s training session,” Palace said in a statement.
