A crash on a state highway killed a 3-year-old girl dead and a left a driver with serious injuries Saturday, officials said. The collision, which involved three cars, occurred on Route 34 near the Route 33 interchange in Howell about 4:45 p.m., the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said in a news statement. The toddler who died was one of three occupants of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was involved in the crash.
