Samsung‘s Galaxy Buds 3 Pro TWS headphones are reportedly under development and are expected to hit the market later this year alongside the standard Buds 3. Now, 91mobiles has exclusively spotted the headphones on FCC certification with the model number SM-R630. The certification only shows that the headphones will have Bluetooth connectivity, which is expected anyway.

  • Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro has the model number SM-R630.
  • The listing indicates that the headphones are manufactured by Samsung in South Korea.
  • The listing indicates the software version as R630.001 and the hardware version as REV1.0.
  • The headphones are equipped with Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE (low power). The data transmission frequency is listed as 2402.00 ~ 2480.00 MHz.
  • Unfortunately, the FCC certificate does not reveal any other information about the headphones at this time.

A recent report has revealed that the South Korean giant is working on a firmware for the Buds 3 Pro and Buds 3 that will have the model number SM-R530. The earbuds have received BIS certification, indicating that an Indian launch is just around the corner. The TUV Rheinland listing showed the battery capacity of the charging case. We get a 500 mAh rechargeable battery. For comparison, Buds 2 Pro also has the same capacity.

Although the battery capacity of each earbud is not disclosed, the Buds 2 Pro are equipped with a 58 mAh battery. Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are listed with the model number EB-BR630ABY on the TUV and BIS certification sites.

There is speculation that Galaxy Buds 3 Pro could debut alongside Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 around July or August 2024. Although the hardware specifications of the headphones are kept secret, we expect improved sound quality, noise cancellation, and longer battery life.
