A man was found dead near a busy clifftop promenade. Police and paramedics were called after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man near The Leas in Folkestone shortly after 3.30pm yesterday. A police spokesman said: “Officers attended and a man was pronounced deceased at the scene. “The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.” The Leas is a beauty spot on the coast which is popular with dog walkers and families.
