An electric generator company has acquired a former coach depot. In October last year, National Express Transport Solutions (NETS) announced it was shutting The Kings Ferry base in Gillingham after 55 years. The Medway depot, in Eastcourt Lane, Twydall, Gillingham, shut along with the firm’s Clarkes of London depot at Sydenham in London. Now, MEMS Power Generation has acquired the former site, which is near to its existing headquarters in Gillingham.
