A road has been shut in both directions by police after a lorry crashed into a ditch. The vehicle was spotted off the road in Cheeseman’s Green, in Aldington, near Ashford, earlier this afternoon. The route is shut between Cheeseman’s Green Lane and Gill Lane with traffic being diverted. Meanwhile, a picture has also been captured of a car with a smashed-up front bumper near Broad Oak – about a mile-and-a-half away from where the lorry was seen.
