Ukrainian soldiers are being tortured for months in Russian captivity, according to a United Nations report released on Friday that described extreme levels of suffering. The mistreatment is “horrific,” systematic and widespread, the UN Human Rights Council’s Commission of Inquiry into Ukraine reported in Geneva.
