A Stockcross man has celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by more than 80 close friends and family members. John Foster marked his birthday milestone with a “wonderful” lunch prepared and served by Quinten Catering, followed by a party held at Stockcross Village Hall. But Mr Foster — a village resident for more than 60 years — said he did not want to receive gifts. Instead, he asked if people would make donations to Newbury Cancer Care.
