A speeding driver who avoided disqualification is among the latest cases from Nottingham Magistrates’ Court. Maria Pykett, 45, of Cotham Lane, Hawton, pleaded guilty to speeding at an appearance at the court on April 9. The Land Rover driver had previously pleaded not guilty. Pykett drove at a speed over 30mph on Hawton Road, on June 8, 2023. She was fined £330, ordered to pay costs of £218 and had four points added to her licence.
