Diss Carnival and Fun Day is taking place today and here is all you need to about the biggest event in the town’s calendar. With the theme of the Wild West, expect stunt shows, Texas two-step dance lessons, a carnival rodeo bull, gold panning and many other activities on Sunday. The carnival parade, the highlight of the day, will kick-start the celebrations, leaving Diss High School at 12.30pm. Around 30 floats and groups will make their way down Walcot Road, through Mount Street, Market Place, Mere Street and on to Park Road, before finishing at Diss Park.
