(The Center Square) – Cities in the South grew at the fastest clip in 2023, according to the latest figures from the U.S. Census Bureau, while Midwest and Northeast cities rebounded. The latest figures come from the Vintage 2023 Population Estimates released Thursday. Experts said the migration trends likely have little to do with politics and much more to do with housing and jobs.
