Manchester City’s academy has been very fruitful indeed in recent years – and it looks to have produced one serious talent in Oscar Bobb. Bobb made headlines at the weekend when he scored an injury-time winner against Newcastle United in the Premier League. City were heading towards defeat, but Kevin De Bruyne came off the bench and flipped the game on its head, scoring and then providing a perfect assist for Bobb. It was Bobb’s first goal in the Premier League for City – and he won’t score too many better ones in his career. It is clear at this point that City have a huge talent on their hand…
