Denmark’s Emil Højlund, the younger brother of Manchester United star striker Rasmus Højlund, has joined German second division club Schalke. Schalke said on Tuesday that under-19 international Højlund will receive a four-year contract until 2028 in a move from FC Copenhagen. “He is a playing striker with good movement who can also latch onto balls. Despite his young age, he has very good physical attributes,” Schalke’s sporting director Marc Wilmots said in a club statement.
