A woman has died following a crash near a shopping centre. Margate Road in Broadstairs was shut for several hours yesterday following the accident at about 1.50pm. The white Ford Fiesta she had been a passenger in was travelling along the road towards the Westwood Roundabout when it collided with a bronze Toyota Yaris. The woman who was in her 80s was declared dead at the scene. The driver, a man in his 90s, and the driver of the Toyota Yaris received medical attention for minor injuries.
