A suspect has been arrested after police seized a firearm while executing a warrant in Newark. An operation was carried out by Nottinghamshire policing teams in Tolney Lane at 7am today (15 February). Searches were carried out of the area, which resulted in a suspected firearm being found and seized by police. A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate.
