Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it will unveil the Mix Fold 4 at 7 p.m. (local time) on July 19 in China. Although the company hasn’t confirmed it yet, it looks like the Xiaomi Mix Flip and Redmi K70 Ultra will also debut at the same event. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mix Fold 4 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which means that it will compete in the Chinese market with models such as the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, Honor Magic V3, and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. According to a recent report, the top-end version of the Mix Fold 4 will have 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
According to the brand, the Mix Fold 4 will be the first foldable phone to feature Xiaomi‘s Dragon Bone Hinge 2.0, which significantly increases reliability while maintaining its thinness. To minimize weight, the device is built on high-strength T800H carbon fiber with an all-carbon architecture. Mix Fold 4 weighs 226 g and is 9.47 mm thick. In terms of durability, it is IPX8 waterproof.
Mix Fold 4 is equipped with a four-camera Leica system with a 5x periscope lens and a portrait telephoto lens, which allows for macro photography in telephoto mode. In addition, the device offers 50W wireless charging and two-way satellite communication.
