Aid to enbattled Ukraine from Europe, including support pledged, exceeds aid from the United States, according to calculations by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy (IfW) in an analysis on Friday. The latest EU package for Ukraine guarantees the flow of financial aid, but the gap between the EU pledges of €144 billion ($155 billion) and the actual allocated funds of €77 billion remains large, the IfW said in its Ukraine Support Tracker which records military, financial and humanitarian aid promised to Ukraine.
