The Met Office has issued a weather warning for rain with heavy downpours set to cover large areas of the UK. A yellow warning is in place from 1pm on Thursday, May 16, to 11pm and forecasts of heavy rain. The warning covers the majority of northern and central Wales as well as large parts of the West Midlands and north West. The Met Office has warned there is a small chance of flooding with some chance of damaged premises.
