A blaze in an empty bowling pavilion is thought to have been started deliberately. Three fire engines and police officers were called to the former bowls club, in Donald Biggs Drive, Gravesend, last night (February 14). Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using main jets around 9.30pm. No injuries were reported. It is thought the fire was started deliberately and officers are treating the incident as suspected arson.
