A motorcyclist has died following a serious road traffic collision in Hoxne. Police were called at 9.55am yesterday to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the B1118, involving a silver Kawasaki motorbike and a red Volkswagen T-Roc. Ambulance and fire crews were also in attendance, along with a critical care team from the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS). Despite the best efforts of all the emergency responders, the rider of the motorcycle – a man aged in his 30s – sadly died at the scene. The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
