Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka was not included in the squad for Friday’s German Cup game at SSV Ulm, according to media reports. The Kicker magazine and broadcasters Sky said that the player was not named to the squad by coach Vincent Kompany, despite being healthy and fit. Bayern haven’t yet published their squad for the game later. Goretzka also wasn’t part of the Germany squad who played at the Euro 2024 this summer and didn’t had a good season with Bayern under coach Thomas Tuchel. He has a contract with the Bavarians until 2026.
