Travellers have pitched up on the site of a former park and ride car park. Caravans were first seen behind DFS in London Road, Allington near Maidstone at the weekend. The car park used to be the property of Maidstone Borough Council but is now owned by a family trust since the park and ride service was disbanded in 2022.
