Police investigating a theft from a customer in a Bishop’s Stortford café on Valentine’s Day are appealing for the public’s help in identifying a man. A purse was stolen from an elderly woman’s bag as she sat with her husband outside Café Thyme in The Dells, off South Street, at around 11am on Wednesday (February 14).
