The emergency services have been called to an incident near the River Thames. Police officers, paramedics and the RNLI crews have been spotted at Gravesend Town Pier and Pontoon this afternoon (August 16). A witness said they saw a police boat and RNLI lifeboat in the middle of the water at around 2.15pm. They described it as an “ongoing incident”.
