Four people have been arrested after an incident where two men were taken to hospital and a machete was recovered. Police shut London Road in Swanscombe at around 1.30pm on Wednesday after reports of a disturbance. Now, detectives are appealing for people to come forward after multiple arrests were made and an air ambulance was called into action. Officers were called the scene where a man was treated and taken to hospital for serious injuries. He remains there in a stable condition.
