Palestinian Authority (PA) President Mahmoud Abbas told the US national security advisor that the Gaza Strip is an “integral part of the State of Palestine” and cannot be separated from the West Bank. Abbass, in a statement after his meeting with Jake Sullivan, called for the civilian population in the Gaza Strip to be protected from suffering and devastation.
