A three-year-old boy was in critical condition Thursday night after he accidentally shot himself at a home in Newark, police said. Officers were called to the Wainwright Street home at 5:47 p.m. for a report of a shooting and found the injured child and rushed him to University Hospital for treatment, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé told NJ Advance Media.
