By Tim Hanlon A Met Office forecaster has pinpointed the exact area to be hit with the heaviest snow as Britain braces for lows of up to -15C in the next 24 hours. This week the country is seeing the mercury plummet and very cold conditions for everyone. There are yellow warnings for snow and ice in place which run until Thursday and cover large areas of northern areas as well as Wales.
