Staff at a new Bishop’s Stortford care home, opening this month, have been clearing rubbish from a town park. The volunteers work for Connaught Care Group, which is behind Meadowbrook Care Home at Mountbatten Way on the St James’ Park estate. It will provide residential and dementia care on a permanent and short-stay basis. The building is on the doorstep of Southern Country Park and the workers used equipment borrowed from TUBS, the Tidy Up Bishop’s Stortford Group, to spruce up the green space.
