Newsweek on Sunday promoted the narrative that former President Donald Trump is “at risk” of losing Florida in November, even as it admitted deep in its piece that Trump is burying his opponent, according to other polls. Newsweek hyped a new poll by Florida Atlantic University that showed Trump’s “lead over President Joe Biden in Florida is narrow, and the Republican could be at risk of losing the Sunshine State.” Newsweek noted that the FAU poll conducted last week found that Trump led Biden 46% to 42% in a head-to-head matchup.
