Drivers have been warned to expect delays after a sinkhole opened up on a busy town centre road. The sinkhole appeared yesterday (April 15) at Market Place/Westhorpe, Southwell, near the Saracens Head hotel. Highways authority Nottinghamshire County Council deployed its incident response team to cordon off the hole, and temporary traffic lights were installed yesterday evening.
