A child was taken to hospital after being hit by a car. Police and paramedics were called to Whitehall Road, Ramsgate yesterday afternoon. There were long delays in the area due to the incident. A police spokesman said: “We were called at 3.15pm yesterday to a report of a collision involving a child and a vehicle in Whitehall Road, Ramsgate. “The child was taken to a local hospital as a precaution. “No serious injuries have been reported.”
