A burst water main has forced the closure of an inside lane at a busy roundabout in Cambridge on Thursday afternoon (15 February). Cambridge Water is on site at the Coldhams Lane/Brooks Road roundabout near Sainsbury’s store conducting emergency repairs. Cambridgeshire County Council’s highways team said at 3.15pm: “All four approaches to the works will also need to be reduced – please avoid the area if at all possible.” Meanwhile, there is disruption on the A11 near Babraham due to a sinkhole.
