Kentucky Track & Field earned some hardware after the conclusion of the 2024 outdoor season. Assistant coach Kris Grimes and senior Keaton Daniel both earned Southeast Region awards by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Friday. Daniel earned the Southeast Region’s Men’s Field Athlete of the Year and Grimes was named the Men’s Assistant Coach of the Year. The Southeast Region includes 35 schools in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Kentucky.
