Four members of the Newark Swimming Club qualified to compete at the 2024 Notts County Championships. The qualifications were held over several weekends in February. Eleven year old Daniel Martin finished the 50m breaststroke event in a time of 51-60. Lucia Chivers, 12, qualified in several events. She swam 2-47.47 in the 200m freestyle setting a new personal best record. Chilvers achieved 3-16/12 in the 200m individual medley and 32.22 in the 50m freestyle earning her fifth place in the final.
