A housing developer has made a cheque donation to homeless charity Loose Ends. Persimmon Homes presented the charity with a cheque of £500. Loose Ends provides hot meals and support to homeless and vulnerable people in Newbury. Loose Ends, which opened its doors in 1990, operates five days a week from its base at Newbury Cricket Club. As well as providing hot and nutritious meals throughout the week, the charity also gives out basic tins of food and supplies clothing, bedding and toiletries to people in need.
