It was obvious for all to see that Ange Postecoglou will need help strengthening his Tottenham Hotspur squad this summer. As they did against Arsenal earlier in the season, Fulham completely halted Spurs’ momentum and Postecoglou was left ruining a poor performance. The result and display was perhaps even more frustrating given it followed such an impressive 4-0 win at Villa Park too. Spurs were put to the sword by Fulham, who showed little regard for the side’s respective positions in the league table.
