Russia’s Ministry of Defence said on Sunday that Russian troops recaptured the village of Myrne in the southern Ukrainian region of Zaporizhzhya. There was initially no comment on the Russian claim from the Ukrainian side. The village has long been marked as contested on maps by Ukrainian military observers.
