Five people have been killed in Israeli attacks on Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip and in Nuseirat, a refugee camp in the centre, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Wednesday. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they were continuing operations in the areas concerned. Individuals firing rockets at IDF troops in Rafah had been targeted, the IDF said.
