A fire in two warehouses in a town in the northern Black Forest on Tuesday has caused damage totalling several million euros. Numerous mobile homes, tractors and other agricultural equipment were destroyed, police said. The owner of one of the warehouses in Keltern near Pforzheim, near the border with France, saw the fire and tried in vain to extinguish the flames himself. The fire brigade, police, German Red Cross and aid organization THW arrived with around 50 vehicles and around 400 emergency personnel.
