A win to open the 2024 campaign for Nebraska baseball. NU topped Baylor 4-1 Friday at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The game opened the season for both teams as well as the Shriners Children’s College Showdown, which runs through the weekend. Neither team could get on the board through the first five innings, but a Dylan Carey double in the sixth pushed Cayden Brumbaugh across. The Bears answered with a run in the bottom of the frame.
