The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has urged Shooting Stars and Remo Stars to ensure utmost restraint on their fans ahead of the South West derby clash. The NPFL disclosed this in a letter addressed to both clubs stating the matchday 26 fixture in Ibadan as high risk. The Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi, said the move was necessary to curb any form of violence before, during and after the match.
