By Graeme Murray An ancient lost Mayan city has been discovered hidden among a rainforest – complete with 1,000 homes and it’s own set of pyramids. The settlement was discovered in Guatemala beneath a huge rainforest. It was found using laser technology and covers 650 square miles from Mirador-Calakmul Karst Basin region close to the Mexican border. Archaeologists reckon the city was around more than 2,000 years ago with almost 1000settlements joined by causeways stretching a thousand miles.
