Red Magic has launched the Red Magic 9S Pro smartphone, which debuted last month in China. The 9S Pro offers a new design and intelligent AI features.

The Red Magic 9S Pro features a 6.8-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2480 x 1116 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports 10-bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. The display also has a DC dimming function and 21600 Hz PWM.
The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading version processor and Adreno 750 GPU, offers 12GB, 16GB or 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB UFS 4.0 storage options. It runs on Android 14 with Redmagic OS 9.5 and supports dual SIM cards. Red Magic 9S Pro has a 6500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
Key artificial intelligence features include Smart Navigator, which provides real-time game tips and voice typing; AI Trigger, which allows you to customize shoulder button actions based on your gaming style; and Sound Recognition, which identifies sounds in the game to help with decision-making.
The phone features a triple camera setup on the back, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor (Samsung GN5), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree viewing angle (Samsung JN1), and a 2-megapixel macro camera (GigaDevice GC02M1). The front camera is a 16-megapixel module below the display. Other features include a fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual 1115K speakers with DTSULTRA technology, and three microphones.
For connectivity, the device supports 5G NSA/SA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6E (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1/L5) + GLONASS, USB Type-C and NFC. The dimensions are 163.98 x 76.35 x 8.9 mm, and the weight is 229 g.
