Newly signed Bayern Munich full back Sacha Boey is sidelined with injury “for the coming weeks”, the Bundesliga champions said on Friday. Bayern said that Boey suffered a large tear in his left hamstring in training. He joins an injury list which also includes winger Kingsley Coman, forward Serge Gnabry, left back Alphonso Davies and midfielder Konrad Laimer. Frenchman Boey arrived last month from Turkey’s Galatasaray to bolster Bayern’s defence. He is nominally a right back but has also filled in for Davies on the left.
