MIAMI — Thieves stole and slaughtered three horses from the Redland agricultural district either late Thursday night or early Friday morning, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department. Police got a call around 8 a.m. Friday that the horses were stolen, Detective Alvaro Zabaleta told reporters at a news briefing near where the horses were found dead.
