Tokyo stocks opened higher Wednesday, supported by overnight advances on Wall Street, but the market was capped as investors continued to lock in gains following recent sharp rises. In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 155.56 points, or 0.38 percent, from Tuesday to 41,430.64.
