German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock on Tuesday observed counterterrorism training in the Ivory Coast, aimed at combating the threat of Islamist terrorism spilling over from the central Sahel region. On the second leg of her West African trip, the Green politician was briefed on the training of military, police, and civilian security forces at an international academy in Jacqueville, 35 kilometres outside Abidjan.
