Tomorrow, on June 18, Oppo is planning to launch the Reno 12 series of smartphones. The lineup will include at least three phones – Reno 12, Reno 12 Pro, and Reno 12 FS 5G. The latter was fully disclosed, including its price, in a leak earlier this week.
Now, thanks to the publication of SpillSomeBeans, prices for both Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro have appeared online.
So, the basic Reno 12 5G will be available in Europe in a single variant with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for €499.99. It will be available in Astro Silver and Black Brown colors.
The Reno 12 Pro 5G, on the other hand, will cost €599.99 for the same model with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Oppo will offer this device in Nebula Black and Nebula Silver colors.
Technical specifications of Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro
Almost all details about the Reno 12 phones have already been leaked. The standard model will have a 6.8-inch 3D curved AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 10-bit color depth, and Corning Gorilla Glass.
It will be powered by the Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, a revised version of the standard Dimensity 7300, likely with a higher clock speed. It will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The camera consists of a 50MP Sony LYT600 main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor on the rear panel, and a 32MP front sensor. The battery is 5000 mAh with 80W SuperVOOC charging.
The Pro model will have the same chipset, battery and charging, as well as a camera similar to the Reno 12, except that the macro sensor will be replaced with an ISOCELL JN5 telephoto lens with a resolution of 50 megapixels. The front will have a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED panel with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and other similar features to the standard Reno 12.
