The base version of Vivo Y200 has appeared on the Chinese certification platform. This allowed us to reveal the full design and specifications of the upcoming mid-range smartphone. So, here are all the details.

Design and features of Vivo Y200

The Y200 of the Chinese brand was spotted in the China Telecom database under the model number V2343A. Looking at the online listing, we can see a device with several memory configurations. These are 8 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB. The base 8GB + 128GB model could cost 1,999 yuan (approximately $277 USD), according to Chinese certification. The upcoming Y200 from Vivo will feature a 2400×1080 pixel display.

Vivo Y200 runs on Android 14. In terms of optics, you get a dual camera setup on the back with a 50-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel secondary cameras. Meanwhile, the front panel has a notch for an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The device is powered by a massive 6,000 mAh battery, which probably also offers 80W wired fast charging. The device is only 7.61 mm thick and weighs 187 grams. This smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port.


Under the hood of the Vivo Y200, you can find the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, which is paired with the Adreno 710 GPU. Vivo is preparing to launch the Vivo Y200 5G, Y200t 5G, and Y200 GT 5G in China on May 20, 2024. Stay tuned for more details as we will be covering the launch event next week.
